Happy Spring!

We have been very busy getting ready for show season. Dorothy and Dawn have been dying a variety of new colors, under the watchful eye of Micah the quality control cat.

We hit the road for a show to Lancaster, PA where we met all sorts of wonderful people. Carol got her first taste of participating in a show in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was able to watch Dorothy lead a lecture on Dimensional Applique methods, as well as helping out during one of Dorothy’s classes.

The next great adventure will be Paducah in April. It would be great to see some of you there. We hope that you have a creative Spring and take some time to smell the flowers.

Merry Christmas from Dawn and Dorothy

We have been sewing like crazy to get ready for Christmas.  Everybody got homemade gifts this year.  What were we thinking?  I had Christmas with my family on December 17 so I had to be done early.  Dorothy is still sewing away.

We have enjoyed this year so much.  We look forward to seeing many of you in the coming year.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We added 5 new babies to our family this year.

Madison Quilt Expo 2011

The Madison Quilt Expo was a lot of fun, and we were certainly tired by the end of those three days! We had a really good show and a great crowd. Our class on dimensional wool creations went very well and we are looking forward to teaching again.

Here are a few pictures from our time there!

Madison Quilt Show

We’re gearing up for the Madison Quilt Expo 2011 on September 8th through the 10th right now, so there’s a lot of hustle and bustle going on.  Wool is being dyed almost daily so we have a large selection for you to see, and several new patterns and kits!

Here’s a sneak preview of our new items that will be debuting at the Madison Quilt show!

Ewe'll Be Warm for Kids

Ewe’ll Be Warm for Kids is a kid version of the popular “Ewe’ll Be Warm” mitten and scarf set.  Bright colors and a matching purse for each headband makes children of all ages want to wear it!

Christmas Ornaments (Set of Four)

Winter is coming, and with it, so is Christmas.  Get an early start with presents by taking look at this wonderful Christmas Ornaments you can make!  Each kit comes with enough fabric to make the full set of four, though you’ll likely want to make more once you see how nice they turn out!

Round Pointsetta Table Runner

And to brighten up with winter  months, we also have a new Round Pointsetta Table Runner.  Dimensional pointsettas really add a whole new pop and will make it a point of conversation once it’s laid out.

With these new pieces, we’ll also have our old favorites, such as “Ewe-niquely Baltimore” and our favorite Halloween Crazy Quilt.  Ewenice and Ewegene the Bookworm Bookmark will also be making apperances.

So if you’re in the Madison Area September 8-10, be sure to stop by and say hi!
